Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Valtier LLC ("Valtier NYC", "we") collects through valtiernyc.com, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. Valtier LLC is based at 914 McLean Ave, Yonkers, NY 10704.

What we collect

What you send us

When you use the form on our contact page, we receive what you type: your name, company, role, email address, phone number if you add one, company size, the systems you use, and your description of the problem. If you came from the calculator, the numbers you entered and the estimate are attached to the form so we can see them.

If you email or call us, we keep that correspondence.

What our host records

Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps basic server logs: your IP address, browser type, the pages you requested, and when. We use these only to keep the site running and secure.

What we do not collect

• We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking tools, and we do not use tracking pixels.
• Our pages do not set cookies. A few pages store a small setting in your browser's session storage so a page transition plays only once. It holds no personal information and is cleared when you close the tab.
• The calculator and the demos run in your browser on sample data. Numbers you type are not sent to us unless you choose to send them with the contact form.

How we use it

We use what you send to answer you, schedule and run the audit you asked about, send what you requested, and keep normal business records. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who else handles it

• Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a person, not a bot, is sending the contact form. It runs only on the contact page.
• Resend delivers contact form submissions to our inbox.
• Google Workspace runs our email and stores the messages we receive.
• Cloudflare hosts the site and keeps the server logs described above.

We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone's safety, or as part of a sale or merger of the business, in which case this policy would still apply to what we had collected.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiries and related emails for 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you become a client. Client records are kept as long as the engagement needs them and as long as tax and legal rules require. Server logs are kept for the period Cloudflare sets.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the information we hold about you. Email contact@valtiernyc.com and we will reply within 30 days. We may keep a record where the law requires it.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect what you send us. No method of sending or storing data is perfect. See our security page for how we handle client data during an engagement.

Children

This site is for businesses. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

California residents

Under the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA): this page lists the categories of personal information we collect and the types of third parties we share it with; you can review and request changes to your information by emailing contact@valtiernyc.com; and we will tell you about changes to this policy by updating it here with a new date.

Do Not Track. Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. We do not track visitors across other websites or over time, and we do not use third-party tracking, so there is nothing for the signal to turn off. The site works the same whether or not your browser sends it. We do not allow other companies to collect information about your browsing over time and across websites through our site.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update it on this page and change the date at the top.
